Buying Guide

Protecting your generator is simple. The right cover makes it last longer.

Imagine stepping outside after a storm and finding your generator dry, clean, and ready to run. That’s the peace of mind a good cover gives you.

Size & Fit: Always check your generator’s dimensions. A cover that’s too small won’t protect fully. A loose one may blow away in strong wind.
Material Strength: Look for 600D or 900D polyester or Oxford fabric. These are tough, waterproof, and resist tearing. Strong fabric means longer life.
Weather Protection: Covers should block rain, sun, snow, wind, and dust. Waterproof coating and UV resistance keep your generator safe in all seasons.
Secure Hold: Elastic hems, drawstrings, or Velcro straps keep the cover tight. This prevents it from slipping off during storms.
Ventilation: Good covers have vent openings. This stops moisture buildup and keeps air flowing, reducing rust and mold.
Ease of Use: Choose a cover that’s easy to install and remove. Quick access for refueling or maintenance saves time and effort.
Durability: Features like double stitching and sealed seams add strength. A durable cover handles rough weather without wearing out fast.
Running Covers: If you need protection while the generator is on, pick a running cover with a frame. These allow safe operation in rain or snow.
Warranty & Value: Some covers come with a 3–5 year warranty. This adds confidence and ensures you get the best value for your money.
